A live looping session built around my frame drum, percussion, voices and Ableton Live.
Eight tracks slowly build into a raw, tribal rhythm. Two drum parts form the foundation, while wooden sticks, shaker and other percussion add movement and texture.
Layered "huh" and "ha" vocal sounds turn into something more mysterious, like a distant voice calling from inside a cave, or a ritual unfolding somewhere in the dark.
Rhythmic, organic and improvised in real time.
